Portrait of a Graduate Portrait of a Graduate

You— our families and community members—you are important partners. You play a big role in the education we provide. You help our students learn and grow outside of the classroom. That’s why we’re asking you to help us to create a “portrait of an AASD graduate.”  We want your input as we craft a collective vision that articulates our community’s aspirations for our students.

We want to know what you, our families and community, think. As professional educators, we know what skills our students need to be successful in the classroom. But that is only part of the picture. We want our kids to be successful in life.

Please take a moment to complete our Portrait of a Graduate survey. We want all our parents and guardians to take part in this community-owned picture of what our graduates need for success.

We're asking for you to share the things you believe are most important for our graduates to learn during their years here in the Appleton Area School District. So, please join us now in crafting Appleton’s Portrait of a Graduate! Your important input will help us achieve Success for Every Student, Every Day.

Please visit the following website http://bit.ly/aasdPOG and select a TOTAL of SIX competencies that all Appleton Area School District graduates should be able to demonstrate.

While each competency is important, our goal is to support our district mission while prioritizing the list based on your feedback. If you believe there is a characteristic not listed that you want included, you can write it in.

Thank you for your help!
