Current Learning Model

  • Early Childhood/4K are fully in-person.
  • Grade 5K-4 are fully in-person 5 days per week.
  • Grade 5 and 6 are in an AA/BB hybrid model and are targeted to move to a 5 days per week in-person schedule on Monday, March 15.
  • Grades 7-12 are in a cohort hybrid model and are tageted to move to a 4 days per week in-person schedule on Monday, April 5. Wednesdays will remain fully virtual to provide for academic progress monitoring, student support, and instructional planning for all students in both learning models, and to allow for disinfecting in our schools.

We must continue to work together to follow all of the safety guidelines and expectations that have been developed to minimize the risk of transmission of the virus. This is absolutely critical to maintaining increased levels of in-person learning in the AASD. As Be Safe Wisconsin says, “It is undeniable that COVID-19 has changed what it means to be safe as a community. Now is the time for everyone in Wisconsin to do their part to reduce the spread of COVID-19.”

Resources for Families
Our District is committed to the education and support of students and families, whether our students are learning virtually or in the classroom. To that end, we have services and support to assist in a variety of ways:

Student meals are available for pickup each week and provide 3 days of meals for hybrid students or 5 days of meals for virtual students.

School counselors, psychologists, nurses, and more are available to each of our students and families. Please reach out to your school if you need anything. There’s more information on the Social and Emotional Learning page
