Information for New Families
Welcome! Appleton is the ninth-best
city in the U.S. for children.
When new families move into the Appleton Area School District, we ask that you register your child(ren) as soon as possible. Please register your child(ren) at the school they will be attending.
What school will my child attend? Consult the Boundary Map
. Looking for alternative programming?
If you are unsure which school your student(s) will attend, please contact the Attendance & Transportation Office at (920) 832-6116.
Prompt registration allows us to properly schedule buses, assign teachers, and provide any other services that might be necessary. Early registration allows us to provide the individual and personal attention your children deserve.
The parent or guardian should be prepared to fill out an enrollment form, home language form, student immunization record, health, and emergency cards when registering your child(ren).
Materials to bring with you when you register include:
- A birth certificate for the child(ren) being registered into Kindergarten
- Verification of address; a utility bill, bank statement, or home phone bill with your correct and current address, or rental agreement
- Immunization records for the child(ren) being registered
